Nadine Gerrard (born May 30th 1980) is a British singer-songwriter, better known as Nadine Coyle as a member of the British pop girl group Sugababes.

In 1995, Coyle was a founding member of Sugababes. As of December 2012, the group have released fourteen studio albums, three compilation albums and a remix albums totaling 9.3 million sales in the UK. 16 of the albums have hit the UK top ten including 5 UK #1 singles. The group have also released 61 singles in the UK. Of these singles, 51 have hit the UK top ten including 11 UK #1 singles. It makes them one of five artists (behind Elvis Presley (76), Cliff Richard (67), Madonna (60) and Paul McCartney (53)) and the only group to score over 50 UK top ten singles.

In December 2010, it was announced the group would be taking a hiatus to work on solo projects. Coyle released her debut solo album "Breakaway" on May 30th 2011 which hit #3 in the UK and seven UK top ten singles have since been released from the album. The album has sold over 1.5 million copies in the UK alone. After returning to Sugababes for a new studio album and compilation in 2012, Coyle confirmed she would release her second solo album "Nadine" on February 18th 2013. The lead single "My Life Would Suck Without You" debuted at #1 in the UK upon it's release in November 2012 becoming her first solo #1 single. A second single "I Do Not Hook Up" will be released a week before the album in February 2013.

In February 2011, Coyle released her debut solo single "Since You Been Gone". The track hit #5 in the UK and #4 in Ireland. Second single "Behind These Hazel Eyes" hit #9 in the UK upon it's May 23rd release. The third single, and first ballad "Because Of You" was a radio hit and reached #7 in her home country whilst the fourth single "Walk Away" became her highest charting solo single when it hit #2. The fifth single "Never Again" hit #9 in the UK becoming her fifth top ten hit from the album.

Coyle's debut album "Breakaway" was released on her 31st birthday, May 30th 2011, and debuted at #3 in the UK and topped the Irish Album Chart. In the twelve months since it was released, the album has sold over 1.5 million copies in the UK and over 105,000 in Ireland. A re-release of the album, featuring 7 new tracks, was announced in February 2012.

The lead single from the re-issue was "Mr Know It All" which hit #4 in the UK whilst the second single "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" is due to be released on June 11th 2012. Coyle has confirmed that this will be the final single release from the album.
