Hi, I've been reading articles on Uncyclopedia for about two years now and have only just created an account (I haven't a clue what took me so long. . .) but now I'm a bit lost as I can't think of anything to do. Although, I am very good at proof-reading if anyone would like me to :) Also, I apologise if I'm violating any rules or anything- I have read articles here for years but never actually contributed anything. . . Thankies! MinxieLoli 11:07, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

Assuming nothing in WYCD takes your fancy, just click 'random page' a few times. You'll soon find something that either needs to be proof-read (about 90% of Uncyc articles do) or something you can add to. Welcome to Uncyclopedia! RabbiTechno 13:48, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
You could just write an article, if you want. Start it in a userspace subpage, like at User:MinxieLoli/SubPage, and work on it until it's done. Better yet, start with something easier than a full article, like an UnNews. - P.M., WotM, & GUN, Sir Led Balloon Baloon.gif(Tick Tock) (Contribs) 18:26, Dec 19
I've been reading Uncyclopedia since 2005 and I only just recently decided to contribute! Maybe the lurking experience should give you a bit of a head start like it did for me, ya? Anyway, good luck and enjoy editing the place! --Nachlader 18:38, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

RUN!!! ESCAPE WHILE YOU CAN!!!

Oh, and welcome to uncyclopedia. Why don't you try to improve one of our older pages to it's former glory? I'm sure after two years of reading you'll make a fine user. Colin Explode fire.gifALL YOUR BASEExplode fire.gifHeaney! Casa Bey Superfly Portfolio 18:09, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

Wait what? Two years of reading and no writing? Well you should be brainwashed seasoned enough to start writing funny articles then. :) --Lt. Sir Orion Blastar (talk) 19:15, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

Uncyclopedia is the worst, don't waste your time and start doing one of those things you're supposed to be doing instead of visiting Uncyclopedia. -Sockpuppet of an unregistered user 21:28, 19 December 2008 (UTC) Lol well thank you everyone for your advice- as it happens, I've already got something in mind for an Unnews article that I will probably write after working out how the whole EDITING process works and thinking it through a bit more- after all, I do know what is considered amusing in this lovely little place. Yep. MinxieLoli 01:03, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

Actually TBH there is one question I would like answered- how do I add links and images to an article I create? MinxieLoli 01:12, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

Description

.

Mahogany turns to Mahogany. turns to the image on the right. The '250px' states the image size in pixels, the 'thumb' makes it a thumbnail allowing a description of any sort, such as the one where it says 'Description'. Enjoy, and sorry, I had to whore my stuff. :) - Rougethebat.gifAdmiral Enzo Aquarius-Dial the Gate SonicLivesPicture.png 02:10, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
First, upload the pic to Uncyc's spacious and luxuriously appointed server.
Images get entered on pages like this
full size
caption (where XXXpx is the displayed image width in pixels}
right (or left. Center too.)
you can add more than one option, for instance:
Looks like this:
Love me. For truly I am an adorable baby.
Seen? I hope that answers your question. If not, I hope that it answers someone else's question.
There's also this, which explains a bunch of things. Perhaps even this. --Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 05:17, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
You know, I thought "Seen?" was just a stereotype Jamaican term. --Nachlader 11:36, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
It's military slang/lingo. Slingo. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 18:28, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
Military terms have no place here, you maggot. --Nachlader 18:54, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

Okidoke then :) I now think I understand it. Well, at least the adding links bit- I'll probably get it wrong with the images thing, but whatever- if I do, I will rectify it :) MinxieLoli 23:50, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
