Well since our friends at Wikipedia have started their Fundraising campaign I think its time to start ours again. Last year we have made our goal of $15. This year were in more desperate times as we have already lost some of our most valuable stuff to us. This year we don't want to go with pop up ads and banner ads on all pages, so we need to get alot more than $15 this year. Remember you can pay your donations to Uncyclopedia though Uncyclopedia:Fundraising. And remember per that page:

If you and 666 other people donate ..

  • 2,000,000,000 Oscar Wilde Dolls – We can make Uncyclopedia available in developing worlds through DVDs, books and pamphlets.
  • ¥10,000 - We can have one of our Clinjas deliver a pie to the face of Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Al Gore, Donald Trump, or George W. Bush - your choice.
  • £1,337 – We can pay for two Uncycloversity events in Porchesia.
  • $666 - We can afford to employ 666 Filipino children to write jokes for us for a whole year.
  • $69 - We can deliver one Star Trek geek to a whorehouse so he won't be a virgin anymore. A pity we can't make him get a life, like William Shatner wants.
  • $36.99 – We can deliver 5 pageviews of free information-free information!
  • $15 - We can supply a starving child in Africa with a collection of our UnBooks in paper format per month. Too bad the child never learned to read, because warlords prevented him/her from getting an education by turning the local school into an ammo dump.
  • 300 Kung-Fu Uniforms- The all powerful, and master of everything Bruce Lee will return to grace us with his presence once more.
  • $1 - We can buy another toilet roll for the Uncyclopedia dungeon.
  • Free - Just turn off your pop-up blocker, Anti-Virus programs, and Firewalls, and let our spyware and adware infect your Windows system and pop up advertising banners and pop up ads in your face, and use a key logger to steal your personal info and sell it to the higher bidder. Honest, it is for the good of humanity that you do this. This is to promote your own stupidity as well as contribute to our cause, and it doesn't even cost you one red cent.

Remember its time to put the fundraising header on all pages. Preferably a newer version than this old dinosaur on top of this page. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by Sawblade5 (talk • contribs) 06:52, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

This needs to be a real organisation, guys!

Come on! Couldn't you create a real fundraising campaign like Wikimedia did? Uncyclomedia Foundation should be off the drawing board and become a real charity organisation! 800px-Flag of the Philippines svg.png | King Joseph | Talk | 07:11, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

Whoa, cowboy. There's several reasons why this hasn't happened, and probably can't; not least that Wikia provide our hosting (for now at least). Have a look through the forum archives for previous discussions if you care, I'm too busy/lazy to dig up the old links right now. -- Sir Codeine K·H·P·B·M·N·C·U·Bu. · (Harangue) 09:24, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

To be a charitable organisation under the same provisions as Wikipedia, http://www.muridae.com/nporegulation/documents/exempt_orgs.html lists possible fields of endeavour as "Religious, Educational, Charitable, Scientific, Literary, Testing for Public Safety, to Foster National or International Amateur Sports Competition, or Prevention of Cruelty to Children or Animals". Wikipedia manages to slip through using a loophole of claiming to provide "adult education", but what about Uncyclopedia? Would it qualify as a literary foundation? It wouldn't qualify under the "cruelty to animals" bit unless you folks stop compulsively huffing kittens. And what's the point... spending hundreds to set this up just to try to get a tax break on money donated to Uncyclopedia? Would it attract enough contributions to repay that cost? --66.102.80.212 16:06, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

Try "charitable" foundation, as Comic Relief is counted as that. Wikimedia Foundation Inc. is qualified as a literary organisation, while we can be like Comic Relief- comedy for charity purposes (help the sick and poor people around the world who aren't fortunate enough to have a laugh- or the last laugh at least). How's that? Remember, laughter is what makes the world go round.800px-Flag of the Philippines svg.png | King Joseph | Talk | 06:06, 8 November 2008 (UTC)

All Right but we have one last problem our template isn't as wide of theirs. If I had access that the template for editing I would had fixed it myself but I have to rely on ya to make it wider to match our friends template at Wikipedia. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by Sawblade5 (talk • contribs) 10:43, 6 November 2008 (UTC)

Last year, it took me ages to rip the code for Wikipedia's 2007 fund-increasing template. --L 09:31, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

I've added that as an option. ~Jewriken.GIF 10:28, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
